Overview
Autobackroom LLC (“Auto Backroom”, “we”, “us”) operates a private internal operations tool for caterers and event-based businesses. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how your business’s data is kept separate from every other business on the platform.
Information we collect
Account information (name, email, and authentication identifiers from Google or passwordless email sign-in); business information you enter (business name, type, city, team members and roles); operational data you and your team create (events, menus, quantities, tasks, checklists, photos, and notes); and standard technical data such as device, browser, and access logs used for security and reliability.
How we use information
We use your data to operate the product: building event plans, checklists and recommendations, sending notifications about your own events, authenticating sign-ins, and providing support. We do not sell your data. Any use of AI to interpret notes or suggest a plan produces a proposal a person on your team must accept — it never changes your business’s data on its own.
Data isolation between businesses
Every business’s records are logically separated at the database level. No event, playbook rule, photo, or recommendation from one business is ever used to serve, train, or inform another business’s account. Only your business’s owner, managers, and staff with permission can see your data.
Third-party processors
We rely on a small number of vetted providers: Firebase for authentication, our cloud hosting provider for infrastructure, and an email provider for transactional messages and invites. They process data only on our instructions and only to the extent needed to provide their service.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, operational records are removed after a short grace period; a minimal audit trail of who approved what and when may be retained longer where needed for security, fraud prevention, or legal recordkeeping.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your account data at any time from within the product, or by emailing support@autobackroom.com.
Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in securely. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Children’s privacy
Auto Backroom is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we materially change this policy, we’ll notify account owners by email before the change takes effect.
